Sooo ... I was going through part of my 'collection' set aside as a kid in the 1960/1970 Far East (Taiwan, Japan and Singapore) and came across this coin/medal/object.

Wondering what the experts might know about it ...

Some measurement facts ... then to the photos ..

Object is obviously a casting and appears to be some sort of copper alloy based on 'feel' and the huge amount of verdigris present.

Weight is 46.32 grams. Overall height is 3-1/8' (82.5cm) with the coin portion being 1.90" (48.3cm) in diameter.

Photos .... obverse ... note that my poor photos do not capture the face of the seated figure .... which shows some detail in regard to two eyes ... a nose ... and a grim looking expression. Also .... uhhhmm ... believe the casting shows a male figure if you know what I mean.

Asian-Coin/Medal???

Reverse photo ....

Asian-Coin/Medal???

Detail of the Obverse coin legend ...

Asian-Coin/Medal???

Detail of the reverse coin legend ...

Asian-Coin/Medal???

Soooo ... all opinions welcome ... what do I have here?

Thanks for any replies.

Looks like a charm similar to this one, only with "extra baggage", and made more crudely.
