1942 Penny Errors?

Hi everyone...im new to coin collecting and was just wondering if the 1942 penny my partner gave me has errors as I think they do..
any help would be great..sorry I couldnt take the best pics

Also would it be worth more or less than a penny without these marks

error 1 the top of the letter A is flattened and smudged
error 2 has and extra bit that is perfectly square connected to the letter and almost twice the hight of the R
