Sidekick-CA Pillar of the Community United States 509 Posts	Posted 02/13/2011 5:42 pm Got this heavily encrusted coin in a lot of uncleaned Romans and zapped it before I realized it was silver. Pix are pretty bad. Couldn't get the WB correct. Coin is actually more silver in color. Seems to be some sort of green encrustation on the reverse about 12 o'clock. Report this Post to the Staff

It was very heavily encrusted, the kind that would take years. In any case, I don't see a modern counterfeiter going to all that trouble just to sell it in a low priced lot of uncleaned coins. Think I paid about $20 for a lot of 12 coins. The rest were all bronze. Report this Post to the Staff
