I have stumbled onto a few of these. There are a few examples that look like WAM's, but are not. We would need to see the designer's initials for further diagnostics.

it appears to be the Wide AM. try comparing the designers initials, at the right side base of the memorial building to photos of the "real deal". I'm NOT one of the experts - but thats my opinion.

Well ... this indeed appears to be a WAM ... true diagnostic check is the location of the designer initials relative to the Memorial. Show us that photo as well. Your coin as shown could be any of a gazillion dates/mm. If you wish full dancing fruit for a 1999 WAM ... then show us photos of the entire obverse and reverse. David

The FG initials should appear to almost touch the memorial...compare to another 99 if you can't get some pics for us

Ok here's a picture of the initials. The pics could be better but I'm not good at using my scanner yet.

Big congrats on your find--the 1999 is the scarcest WAM!

Cool Deal, I thought one of the easier ways to check was that if the distance between the 'A' and 'M', was the same as that of 'M' and 'E' then it was considered WAM. ?

Nice find. I don't check the initials, I just look at the AM... several thousand cents later, it takes me a fraction of a second to see it.
