Hey everyone I'm new to this forum and have just stepped into the Coin World and all I have to say about this hobby is "AWESOME". Here's my question, has anyone ever seen or found a 1971 extra spine penny? I found one while coin roll hunting last night and in my book it claims only a few have been reported and is rare. Now is this true or just another common 1.

Here's my pic's

Any help and insight would be very helpful and welcome

Thanks Nova

I haven't heard of this variety... It does seem to have extra lines on the twig but it could be a hit or a die crack.
