Hi,

There's always a few coins out there that are so incredibly difficult to find that whatever the list price is they will always seem to sell for more.

In my opinion, a few coins that fall into this category are the 1888 50 cents Obverse 4, 1892 Obverse 3 50 cents, 1859 brass penny and the 1870 No LCW with bold strike.

Like the one in my Avatar. The single nine!!
Wish I can get that one day,...... wait,,, there is only one minted, and the last selling price was millions of $'s. Owned by Kings before, No way I can complete my collection of the ZARS, with this one missing.

If I had the money...a 1911 Canadian silver dollar. Only 3 known and two are in captivity. The wild one sold for 1 million dollars.

A 1913 BL 10 cent in EF-45, with outstanding eye appeal. In fact, most key dates in affordable grades that are clearly much nicer than the grade would suggest. The value is in the appearance of the coin, not the grade.

In my opinion a RARE coin that is seldom seen let alone talked about is the 1892, Large 9 Canada dime. This coin, even in a G-4 grade is a most coveted coin. I would not hesitate to purchase an Obverse #5 above trends.

HHB, yes...I'm always looking for the "right" one. My bank account hopes that I never find it though.

I don't know what an MS-64 (let alone a 66) is worth, but I'm guessing upwards of $50,000...a little rich for my blood. A guy can dream though.

Just saw that MS-64 broad leaves, HHB. Wow. Makes mine look like a filthy piece of change found on the street. Now if I just sell my car, and my truck, and roll up all my change...

You should buy it, then I can live vicariously through you.
