Hi everyone, just signed up for the board because I have a question. Way back in '95 I came across a $5 bill that was printed with no serial number and only has one of the seals on the bill. It is in MINT condition and I was looking to see how much something like this might be worth. Any help would be great!

Ah yes, I figured someone would say that. The bill is actually at my parents house. I'll try to see if I can get my dad to send me some pics.

In all likelihood more than just one seal would have to be missing in order for it to be an error rather than tampering. If the black seal is missing then so should be the district numbers, if the green seal is missing then so should be the serial numbers.

In all likelihood.

Don't give it a second thought Nick..... when it comes to small size notes, you and Ceylon are still tops.

nrshw9, welcome

You probably have a missing OR under inked of green over print.

Zee, thanks for the vote of confidence. I do NOT know everything BUT I do educate my self on things that interest me. Thanks again.

Sorry about the delay on pictures...my dad isn't as tech savvy as some and is probably having trouble sending me some snapshots. I will definitely keep you guys posted though, so just sit back and enjoy your popcorn.
