Normally you see them with a portrait of Hillary, Bill, or some other political figure. I have one with Alfred E. Newman somewhere.

Several Volusia County Sheriff's deputies were called out to Timbercrest Elementary School Tuesday morning after a school official noticed a student was holding what seemed to be a $1 million bill.

School administrators said the bill looked very real and were concerned it might be in circulation.

Heck when I was in school, one of my folders looked like a $1,000,000 bill with Uncle Sam on the front.

"He claimed that he just wanted the bank to check whether the bill was real but bank employees testified that he wanted to have the money credited to his account,"

I'd think the time to do that was before accepting it.

Both articles speak of counterfeit or fake notes. How can you fake something that doesn't exist?

With the way Bernanke and the Federal Reserve are creating fiat money backed by nothing, $1 million bills might be ordinary stuff in a few years.

Whomever the school administrators are who called the sheriff about this bill aren't too bright. I would have laughed them out of the room.

What business is it of the School officials how much money a student is carrying? Would they have called the Sheriff if he had ten one hundred dollar bills? Just how much money is a student allowed to have before we call in the authorities?

Afraid they were in circulation and he wasn't getting his? Looked very real? Not if they looked anything like the pictures. Or are the school officials going to claim they are so underpaid that they aren't even really sure what paper money looks like anymore?
