Canada-EH New Member Canada 49 Posts	Posted 02/17/2011 5:06 pm Hello to all. I've got humidity showing inside some of my ICCS graded coins. Can see it inside the plastic and on the coins. Is there any remedy for these coins. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

Ugly Pillar of the Community Canada 1733 Posts	Posted 02/18/2011 3:28 pm I use silica gel packs, put them in a sealed container with the coin for a few days and voila.... so dry just the thought of it leaves me farting dust. Then I move the coin along because I don't want to see the results of the moisture a year from now. :D Report this Post to the Staff
1cent Pillar of the Community Canada 1051 Posts	Posted 02/19/2011 3:19 pm I also use silica packs, as well as an old ammo crate that's got a layer of kitty litter on the bottom. This is for prevention of moisture though. I've never seen one as bad as the one you describe. Report this Post to the Staff

A good option if you're not concerned about having to return the holder for proper attribution/spelling/missed varieties, or getting less for the coin on the open market than an ICCS coin would.
