Where Is This Coin From? Pictures!!!

toast Pillar of the Community Australia 1091 Posts	Posted 09/23/2006 9:25 pm Hi Cerf This looks to me to be a medalion, not a legal tender coin.(ie: no year, denomination or country) I was in Thailand some years ago and fake "coins" were being sold all with designs that looked somewhat like real coins but different. So it may not be really silver either. Having said that, it is an interesting looking piece and if you are going to list it, the price will depend on what the two top buyers think it's worth. Irishraider Pillar of the Community United States 1454 Posts	Posted 09/23/2006 9:51 pm It is a hindu silver round. It has the god Shiva on the front and the Aum symbol on the back. It is probably not worth much more than melt unless you can find two people who just really want it more than the other. I will see if I can find out anymore about it. Report this Post to the Staff
