All are from Great Britain. Clockwise from top left:
25 New Pence 1980 - KM#921 - Copper-Nickel - $2.50 UNC
1 Crown 1888 - KM#765 - Silver 0.8409 oz. - melt value (about $28 now)
1 Crown 1965 - KM#910 - Copper-Nickel - $0.65 XF
25 New Pence 1981 - KM#925 - Copper-Nickel - $2.50 UNC
? Someone else will have to chime in on this one, I couldn't find it in my Krause edition.
25 New Pence 1977 - KM#920 - Copper-Nickel - $1.50 UNC

Hope it helps.

Number 5 (bottom row middle) has been shown a few times before. Other forum members, me included, have this; but as yet none of us know what it is.
It appears to be a commemorative medal rather than a coin, nice enough in design; but I've rarely seen one in UNC. Wonder why that is?

Welcome to the forum, Quackstar84.
The 1888 Crown coin is very very nice. It has about 17-18 Quids of melt value silver in it. 1888 is a tough date as well! Very lovely I should say. Keep up the good work!
Myself is a half-crown fanatic.

Hello molydeii, thank you for your welcome.

Yes I seem to prefer silver over gold, I'm not sure why thought... I think gold is over rated.. lol.

Since no one chimed in....UNC = Uncirculated

And I agree, that 1888 is very nice.

Welcome to the forum Quackstar!

The value of a coin depends very much on its condition. vb3347 mentioned a couple of them, UNC stands for Uncirculated, XF stands for Extra Fine (in the US, somewhat similar grade in the UK is EF, Extremely Fine).

Thank you both Harrison2 and svslav =).

May I ask if I could use acetone on these coins (apart from the 1888 Crown coin... lol) and avoid damaging/devaluing them? I'll never use anything which will end up leaving swirl marks behide.

Thanks for being helpful.

I wouldnt do it on any of them, it would devalue any of them by dipping them. Acetone is used in a few cases to remove unattractive toning from a MS coin... a ciruclated coin that is bright and shiny just dont look right!
