Just this morning ran into a pile of these. Any ideas? Reeded edge, has a silver ring to it. Coin looks washed-out in the pics, but isn't.

Looks to be a 5 Miscals of Sinkiang Province. KM#41a, should be 17.9g

Don't like it - doesn't look genuine to me.

This looks dubious because of the mushy details on the denticles and the weird sharp strike on the leaf details. Genuine types are rather crude and softer in strike, though the surfaces should not be mushy.

If you "ran into a pile", combined with the other comments. I'm highly dubious of authenticity as well.

Chinese coins are pricey and hot right now......you "ran" into a pile of these.....right there, too good to be true.
