I was wondering if anyone could help ID a couple of coins, as I don't have any knowledge in this subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here is the first coin:

The first one is Roman, I'm 99% certain its Claudius II, dating from around 268-270AD.

Its not in great shape so its possible it could be Quintillus (Claudius IIs brother) or maybe even Gallienus (Emperor before Claudius II).

How would I go about finding the value of these coins? I am just curious what they are worth (if anything at all).

I believe the Roman one is a posthumous "CONSECRATIO" altar-enclosure type of Claudius II, struck during the rule of his successors who deified him. This is the closest match I could find on Wildwinds. In this condition, with virtually no legend readable on either obverse or reverse to allow an exact determination of variety, it wouldn't be worth much - maybe $5 or so?

The Brunswick coin is listed in my 202 edition 1600s Krause catalogue as number 310, and gives a value in VG condition of $10. On that basis I'd give this coin a value of about $15 today.

Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
