I would buy them probably a dollar a piece, no shipping I've seen holders like that people have for sale at coin shows that are empty for you to fill on your own without the paperwork of authenticity of course I would give it a shot though, especially if they are in nice shape

Those are really common, everyday coins in those holders. Usually they will be about XF grades which normally sell for about $0.25 to $1 each as novelties at coin stores or coin shows. Not sure who makes those holders but those are really common. I've seen them on TV, in newspapers, coin magazines, etc. Those come in sets like 3 nickels with one Jefferson pre war, a WW2 coin, a post war one. Also, they are made with 3 different Dimes such as 1 sitting Liberty, 1 Mercury, 1 Roosevelt. They also come with a variety such as one of each denomination. All are really cheap holders with just a cardboard slotted peice to hold the coins in place. Not air tight or even close to being sealed. Thin plastic that sometimes has the top coming off. Ane the ones you are mentioning could well be just VG to XF graded coins with even rust on them. At one coin show a dealer had a 1,000 coin bag of them for $0.03 each. I have well over 1,000 of those things too. They are sort of fun to find when reprocessed. Some are actually Chrome plaated, some Copper plated, most are either Tinned or Zinc plated.

Not just S mint. All three mints are there plus what looks like to 2 reverse displays.
They don't look that great either. Not hard to find all 3 mints in BU for under $5.

I actually have this exact set. They are 100% legit - they appeared in some coin magazines back in the late 90s. I think back then they sold for like 14.99 a set.
I would pick it up for 5 bucks... no question about it.

You can do much better in any dealer's bargain bin. Save your $5.

Not my dealer's bargain bin. Looked last week for my grandson and yuck. I'd probably get them just to see the certificate.
