Simple question, I don't have 2x2 handy or I'd just measure it...but is a flexible Mylar 2x2 holder 2" on the inside or the outside?

if it's to hold 2x2's, the pocket should be 2 3/16" inside. That's the size of the pockets in my coin album that holds 2x2's

Sorry, I mean the 2x2 holder it's self.

I have a photo of a coin in a mylar 2x2 and want to calculate it's size but don't know the actual size of the holder in the photo. Make sense?

OK so you made me curious. I ran downstairs and grabbed a handfull. That's were I keep them. Now remember that like many other items, not all manufacturers are the same with the sizes of their products.
Here is what I just found on outside measurements:
All the mylar flips with the bottoms rounded are exactly 2" high by 1-31/32" wide.
All the ones with sharp corners, top and bottom are exactly 2"h by 2"w.
This constitutes about 10 of each measured.
Any help?

Just Carl, that's AWESOME! Exactly what I needed. As you can see, the photo is poor...but it is enough for me to calculate the size of the smaller coin in a effort to ID it...I saw it once in person breifly and it's been plaugeing me since! (to see it again is an 8 hour dirve!)

I concur...now, I'm having a bear of a time finding it in Krause since the other side seems to have the image of a man's head. Not an eagle...does anyone else agree?

Are you aware that that photo could win an award for the lousiest photo ever made?
What is really scarry is imagine the eyesight of the person that took that photo and may well think it's normal.

Truth be told, it was voluntarily taken by an older woman, by her self, on a side street in a small town in Mexico surrounded by a bunch of curious men. So, she was a bit nervous and rushed the photo.

All things considered, I think she did marvelous!

It's definitely Mexican. She's working on another photo...

KM#368 is a popular suggestion, but it has a "cap and rays."

I'm beginning to wonder if it's a fake or fantasy coin of some sort.
