Is it ok to use RX prescription bottles green,brown or blue for long term storage of cents,nickles,quarters,1/2$ or Dollars?gasman96

I have never tried it but I hear alot of people do it, as long as you clean them out good first. I am not sure what kind of damage or toning residue from the pills could do to coins.

I used to use the brown ones in the past. I never had any problems. Just wash them good.

It also has to do with the climate your in. If you have alot of humidity, you'll have a much higher chance from problems.
