I received a coin that I was not satisfied with, and decided to return it. I filed a dispute through Paypal Feb. 5th.

After contacting the seller, and confirming that he would accept the refund (I was within the 7 day return period) I mailed the coin to him on the 15th of February. Along with giving the Tracking number to Paypal, and the seller.

On the 28th the seller received the coin and told me he would be processing my refund. It is now the 4th of March, and I still have not received my refund.

How long does this process usually take? This is the first time I have had to return an item.

Also, on Paypal the "Status" used to be on "Item Return" but now it is back to "Being Reviewed by Paypal" (See Picture Below)

I have returned some coins. It took about 3 to 5 days for coin to arrive. About the same to revive the money. If it has been longer I would contact the seller. Find out what is tacking so long. Then give it a day or so then contact PayPal by phone. I believe it is owned by ebay. I call them when I have problems of this sort. In ever case I did receive my refund.

I once got the runaround from a seller under similar circumstances...do all communications through the ebay message system so they can see it in case he doesn't pay.You will get your money back eventually.

I had a similar situation with a seller. I filed a dispute after returning several coins that I returned under delivery confirmation after seller stopped responding and it took about 2-3 weeks to process my refund. Disputed another one when I did not receive the coin I ordered and it took 4 weeks for a refund. Paypal attempted to contact the seller a few times before processing the refund. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I've had good luck getting my refunds.Just remain calm and don't say or do anything to make yourself look bad.It does sound like you are doing just that.

As one data point, I've returned one item. The refund was processed before the USPS tracking info even reflected delivery.

Also, I'm wondering about who pays for that return. So many have said it almost doen't pay for small valued items. Does Paypal collect both ways?
