Hey all. Just thought I'd share some of my good fortune with my Jefferson roll searching. In one box, I found three War Nickels: 1943-S, 1945-S, and a 1944-D. I just started on my second box and in the first roll found a 1943-P!

Yes I'm excited! This is the best luck I've had so far! Not only that, but I'm quickly filling in some holes in my album!

Nice going. Not sure where your at but you should consider going back to where you got those rolls real fast. Might have been someone turning in a pile of coins laying around for a long, long time. If I were you I'd go there and try for as many rolls as they will allow.
Maybe to late, maybe nothing else, but if there is...........

I went to the same bank this morning and got another box. So far just the 1943-P that was in the first roll. I actually lucked out to get this box. Most of the time they want to special order them.

I'm only fourteen rolls into this box though. Hopefully it will produce good results too.

To update the results of the second box of nickels. I just found War Nickel number two. It is a 1945-S. I'm through just a little over half the box. Still potential for more!
