With the Mints new equipment to curb errors this should have never left the Mint in 2003 and may be the only quad strike cent that did.
Rare to fine multiple strikes that are all die struck (no second planchet entering the dies).
This coin has more eye appeal than the 1998 PCGS quad previously posted.

I wish.... This was a purchase from a well known error coin seller from California that advertised it as a triple strike... I don't remember the exact price I paid, but do know it was at least $500.00 because I knew how rare it would become...
