I would say MS-63... But could be a 64 if it's a weak strike, there are a couple weak areas...

Finally the coin has been delivered)!
It has an attractive surface with lite gold tone.
Thickness of the coin is different,is that typical for this coin?

Commemoratives can be weird sometimes because of the high reliefs, but Ill be honest I've never seen one like that. It would not be a cause of concern for me though!

Lovely coin ... I truly enjoy this Oregon Trail design as do many other collectors.

This coin IMHO will grade MS66 easy ... absolutely beautiful fields and devices with a minimal amount of bag marks. Compares very well with my PCGS MS67 Oregon Trail.

That said ... I am concerned whether it has original surfaces ... something for sure looks to 'good and clean' about the surfaces.

Can not judge luster from your photos ... my suspicion is this coin has been dipped and otherwise cleaned. Hope I'm wrong on that.

Tell us where you purchased it and that might clear up the mystery of the surfaces.

Whatever ... lovely coin indeed.

Thanks a lot for answers!
I'm not sure, but I think the coin was not otherwise cleaned,I've bought the coin at the seller from Berlin,he had only several US coins, mostly he sells coins from around the world.
I've got this coin for 180$,I think it's not a big money for this one.

Lex, is that rim anomoly located just above STATES AMERICA? If so, I believe that your commemorative was struck on a planchet with a very small clip(incomplete planchet). I cannot see it being any more than 1% but it is still quite interesting to see an error like that on an early commemorative, regardless of size.
