I come across a half dozen or so american coins in my dads house, which I think was some loose change from a holiday in USA a good few years ago.

Just wondered if there was any of note here ?

well I have my doubts you picked up the dollar coin as loose change quit making that type back in 1921. the 1964 1/2 dollar and the 1 dollar coin are both 90% silver the others are common coins still found in change today

I couldn't quite make out the date on the Morgan dollar. Is that an 1883? If so, it may be worth more than the $36.00 in silver. You may want to post a clear picture of both sides of it in the grading forum. Then maybe get a better idea of value.

I would think that would be determined by the quality. I would go with whichever gives the best resolution and true color of the coin. I don't have the camera knowledge that some folks here have. I'm still learning myself! I would just go with the best results.

You'd get better results posting in the Grading Forum. I'm an amateur grader.

Looking at the pitting on the cheek, the blemish next to her mouth, and the sizable nicks on the rim,
it may effect the grade. Still, a coin that I would own.

Yeah, it's cleaned. XF-ish. Melt at this moment is $27.96 on these. Even if it weren't cleaned, it wouldn't fetch much more than that, at that grade.

Edit - I should qualify that with, it's still a collectible coin, though. Plus, consider you're not in the U.S. market. I'm saying, I'd imagine it would sell for more out where you are. In fact, that would probably go for every one of those coins. Probably not a heck of a real lot more, but, a different market, and, you never know. Best way to find that out is to simply go around to some of the coin shops out there.

Some sort of nice coins since you are not in the USA, makes them even more of a decent find. As usual when anyone shows a coin the usual replys ae about value. I noticed you did not indicate you were interested in selling them so that should not be important.
I'm in the USA and have a real problem finding or getting any half dollars so that one too is nice. Your Silver Dollar may be cleaned but so what. It is really in great condition so save it for sure.
