I keep having problems with my username. When I click on it most of the time nothing happens or I get error messages like the one below. It's getting kind of frustrating because the only way I can get my username link to work is if I go through My CCF--> members and find myself there and then I can get in. But my handle up in the right corner under "you are logged in as" is not allowing me to go to my pages most of the time. Strange!

I've done the usual exit site, re-enter site, rebooting computer. I do tend to have about 10 other windows open, but none of my other programs are malfunctioning.

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

Fine for me. Have you tried a different browser? Which one are you using?
Rest in Peace

I wasn't able to duplicate the error message, but after a minute or so I cancelled the operation because nothing happened. And it took 8.9 seconds for my own profile to pop up after I clicked on my user name. Something's going on. (I'm using a MacBook Pro and Safari, but I don't feel that the problem is on my side of the router.)

Sometimes I have to delete my cookies to gain access to the site? Probably not related but worth a try?

Thanks for trying. I am using Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13 cipher bit 128. I just tried again to click on my handle and got this:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'
Script timed out

/forum/pop_profile.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

It shows a few but not all of my recent threads.

As I said at the top, the only way I can get to my handle without problems is through the My CCF and clicking on members and scrolling to my handle. It's a circuitious route, but I guess that's what I'll do from now on.
