At todays spot price of silver .. $35.89 per troy ounce ... each full weight Morgan/Peace dollar contains 0.7735 troy ounces of silver and has a base metal value of $28.03. ExoGuy Pillar of the Community United States 4415 Posts	Posted 03/08/2011 10:09 pm Dealers at a show this past weekend were paying $25 each for any grade Morgan/Peace dollars. Silver has climbed yet another buck in the past two days. I'll echo the concern that you must be sure that the coins are genuine. Weigh them and use a ring test before buying. Sadly, the rising value of silver will undoubtedly result in more crooks attempting to sell those Chinese counterfeits. Report this Post to the Staff
