Your doing a lot better than me in Illinois. I'm still having trouble finding the 2009's of anything. Someone out there is hoarding everything.

Here in Missouri I've filled my 2010 holes for nickels, dimes and cents. But my cent folder is the only one with the 2009 holes filled. I have yet to see and 2009 nickels or dimes. getting kind of annoyed but I guess that hard to find coin is what makes this hobby worth it!

I have found a few 2010-D nickels here in Michigan and the rims are sharp like a knife would be sharp. Also the edge has a line that looks "bumped" out all the way around it,has anyone noticed that on theirs? John1

are 2010 nickels rare or something? I don't even search nickels and I found a couple 2010's in the cash register at work. I kept 2 that I found but it was the first time I ever looked at nickels.

I have a roll each for P & D 2010 Nickels. I got both of them at separate times, each whenever I felt like trying my luck at finding some older nickels. That didn't happen. Yesterday, I stopped by the bank and asked for four rolls of pennies. They were all 2011 (Philadelphia) pennies. The teller asked if I wanted some other rolls, since she knows I like to search them for wheat pennies. I think the way to get a lot of new coins in one place is to hope that you won't get any. It's worked for me.

Quote: are 2010 nickels rare or something? No, not at all.......the '09 issues were/are the anomaly, not the 2010 by any stretch of the imagination at all !

Well in central PA we never get new coins it seems. However I found a 2010 P dime and nickel but have not seen any in PA.
Do not have long yet here but I will start keeping 2009 and 2010 coins I get in change.

Tons of 2010-D and even 2010-P Nickels in Denver. I recently bought a BU roll of 2010-P Nickels from a local grocery store. I did get my first 2011-D Nickel yesterday.
