My 7100 was an oddball to begin with...
I got it in 1985 and it was pre-dated to 1987-S. Yes, 1987-S. I believe it was actually made around 1980 or 1981 because the mintage info on the first page only went to 1979 (the binder was replaced in 1996).
Remember, there were circulation strikes in San Francisco until 1974 and Dansco is known for two things: pre-dating holes well into the future and failing to correct mistakes for several years. It is quite conceivable that they thought San Francisco would continue to mint cents for circulation.
If you are keeping track, my album came with seven pages. Since I had the holes for 1975-S to 1987-S, I opted to put my proofs in there (the 1968-S to 1974-S proofs are in another album; the extra holes on the second page of my custom Indian-Buffalo-Mercury album). I would continue the trend in the undated holes (mirroring the layout of the 8100).
When it came time to add the eighth page, I decided to use one from the 8100 (since I was already lined up correctly). I also bought a replacement seventh page from the 8100. (There is an interim configuration in there, but it is not worth mentioning).
So, in the end, my 7100 has been converted to an 8100. It goes to 2007-S, so my 2008 coins are in the IBM album with the 1968-1974 proofs. 2009 is special and 2010 is a new series, so they start a new album.
And to answer the other question... no holes for doubled-dies, but holes for the 1960-P/D SD/LD, 1970-S SD/LD, and all eight 1982 varieties.
