I'm not good at grading these, but I *LOVE* #2. She's gorgeous!

The first one looks to still have a little shine in the fields, so I'm going to guess that a lot of the loss of detail is more due to strike than wear. VF-30

Second one, F-15/VF-20. Maybe an old dip but the color is gorgeous, so it probably doesn't matter.

Third, F-12. Definitely been dipped in the past IMO.

#1.......highest grade...high vf-low xf

#2 has great toning but lower grade, prob vf-20

#3...f-15, maybe. I don't like the weak rims of the reverse @ 3 and 9 o'clock

I'd keep the first two! But then, you already knew you'd ditch that one. What are you after?

I'm going to be a little tougher on these

#1 f-15
#2 F-12
#3 F-15

If I had to keep one , it would be #3, because #2 looks like it might have been cleaned in the past, and I don't like those scratches on the obverse of #1.
Rest in Peace

thanks for the input. #2 were pictures from the original seller and are a bit deceiving imo. Often coins result in that kind of look from an old dipping, but in this case, the coin was harshly cleaned. The color's aren't nearly as brilliant in hand either.

#1 is the clear winner, I agree, and will be the one I keep. :-)

If it was harshly cleaned, the photos are definitely deceiving because it just looks a little dipped.

In regards to coin 2: agreed...I was more than a little disappointed in the purchase because the coloring wasn't that great and new it was cleaned. I thought at least the cleaning helped move the toning, and I realized something. The toning is completely fake! It comes off when rubbed against something. So I basically have a harshly cleaned spray can job here. I've been had! Here is how the coin looks in sharper lighting without the toning

I like #2 but the pictures you posted of #2 and of how the toning on it came off sucks. With that said then, keep #1
