Right now I don't have a powerful enough loupe to see split shriefs...maybe on the tips of the "S" at 12:00 but I can't be certain... Would this be considered a DOO, it's a 72-D. Thanks.

What you have is a classic example of Machine Doubling (note the shelf-like appearance of the doubling), not a doubled die. But keep on looking and you'll find one.

if it was MD, the letters would usually be flatter... And honestly they look pretty round to me... But I am no expert, just sayin...

The NE of ONE is definitely machine doubled. That does not eliminate the possibility of the coin being a doubled die.

I have many here that are nice doubled dies and the coins have some Machine Doubling as well.

You have to look for notches and splits on lettering, not the pushed up, flat metal that has been moved around.

Look at the "notches" on the upper left of the letters and look at the "separation" of the doubled islands on the Earth. That is the kind of doubling that indicates a doubled die.

Your coin, from what is visible in the images doesn't have any clear doubling. If, however, the E PLURIBUS UNUM looks like this, you may have a doubled die.

There are doubled dies that are more or less prominent but the characteristics of notches and doubling are the same no matter what the spread of the doubling is.
