Well you folks around here got me to do something I have been wanting to do for some time, I broke down and ordered my first Dansco Jefferson nickel Album, got it in the mail yesterday. Oh, and I want to say thank you for motivating me to do so! So far I only have one coin in it... a 1950D I found in circulation a couple of weeks ago! When I put it in I laughed because it looked so lonely and I realized that in many collections this is the LAST coin to be filled.

Congradulations. However, imagine how that Silvery looking coin would have looked in Beatiful Dark Blue Whitman Album?

Congratulations on your latest obsession! I like how you found the key date and then bought the album. Too bad this won't work with a Lincoln album... or will it.

All it takes is a backward crazy person to make it happen!
I am going to start digging through my piles of coin soon and see how many holes I can fill, but again it is going to be the common dates that I wont have since I have been saving the harder to find coins all these years.

Speaking of the Lincoln Cent scenario....would it be the 1909-S VDB first or the 1922 No-D But back to the post, the king of the hill or the rarest coin in the book will always be lonely

It just occurred to me what the ULTIMATE irony would be in this case. You know how every 3rd Jefferson nickel you look at is a 1964? It would be funny to not be able to find one now to fill those spots!

a cool Idea would be filling a jefferson album by lowest mintage and moving up another way to make it harder on you always looking for ideas to make things more interesting in my collecting
