ikandiggit Pillar of the Community Canada 1166 Posts	Posted 03/20/2011 8:33 pm That looks like a rough edge from the die, like a long die chip. When looking at things like this consider how it would appear on the die. The fields on the coin are the surface of the die and the raised areas on a coin are incused on the die so this would be an exposed edge of the device. Chips would happen here from wear.
