I'm linking them because they are quite large.

It has to be higher than MS-60 in my opinion.

I mean dust on the plastic... not the actual coin.

Nice coin! Looks MS-60 at least in the holder. You should pop it from that holder for better photos and put it in a hard case. Just a quick observation...under the date on the rim looks like a metal gouge or something, maybe it is just the plastic of the holder. Where did you find it?

Thank you!

I inspected the rim, and it is not from a bang onto anything. Rim looks fine all the way around but I guess it has something sticking out where the date, where you pointed it out.

I wish I can tell you my secret to finding high grade large cents. :P

I added images without the holder.

Nice coin
AU58
There is slight wear on the beads on the vertical band of the crown,as well as on the shoulder ribbon.

55, there's slight wear on the crown beads and the overall strike isn't perfect, uncirculated I'd give it a 62/63.

edit : DBM posted while I was typing lol

DBM,

I guess my photos are not accurately showing the coin. I'm looking at it through the loop, and I see nothing worn down. Not even slightly.

My only guess is that is lighting.

I may send it in for grading a in a month or so. I'll see what I get then.

Very nice! Looks like extra metal on the rim. Nice find.
I'm thinking more AU now but that is just my opinion from what I see.
Where are the large cent experts at? :)

EDIT: DBM and UGLY :)

-Jacked_j-It looks like you want opinions!
---I'm going with DBM, Ugly and thatcanuckyguy! I would say he's generous with AU58 though! IMO, I could be wrong but think closer AU 50-55. ---It's a nice coin but look closely at your scan magnified.
---There is some wear on the crown not much but has,the mustache tip beard and ear all show slight wear, so MS60 or plus is out!
---It also appears to have lost some freshness to the luster but harder to say with your scan.
---Sorry if that's not what you want to hear.

Bigger isn't necessarily better. A 3mb image takes a long time to load, even on dsl, and the first thing the browser does is reduce it so you can see more than a staple or an ear.

Regarding the coin, I'd say xf/au. I tried to load it into Irfanview and sharpen it up, but it choked on the file size.
