Where I am working & living now (Abu Dhabi) all Europe, US etc coins are scarce out here without having to pay enormous amounts of shipping from US & Canada. So maybe worth giving it a shot, I really would like to have a handfull of Canadian coins to my collection as well. I mostly buy scarce ZAR coins and Gold coins, so I do not mind paying shipping on a $500 coin, but to pay $8.00 shipping on a 99c coin is not sane Report this Post to the Staff

Instead of spending the cash you were going to on the coins send five bucks to Red Cross Japan and I'll send you an uncirculated year set or something. Report this Post to the Staff

Thanks Ugly for the most generous offer, I just don't know right now what I should start with, I am going to do some research and see what type of collection I should do. My Friend and co-worker is Canadian, and he goes home in the summer months, I am also going to ask him to get me some once I know what I would like to concentrate on. Jacked J, I actually lived in the states for 2 yrs, a few yrs ago and visited Canada a few times on business, but I didnt collect back then "2002 to 2004". I wish I have started back then already.
