neweden Valued Member Canada 272 Posts	Posted 03/22/2011 2:09 pm I am thinking of starting a new section of my coin collection, and although I dont really collect foreign coins I was thinking along the lines of German coins, especially those of the third reich. Does anyone know much about these, such as specialty books, and anything on how to spot a fake. Also any ideas on how to go about researching this subject. Any help at all would be good. Thanks.. Not that there is too much to worry about with regard to the Third Reich; the odd Schiller and Luther (http://www.amazon.de/M%C3%BCnz-F%C3...p/3950162062) - Currently up to the 2nd Edition Sites: Beutler... Probably the best and most current price guide on the net. Normally, you'd want to pay one grade lower than the price listed, but they do list retail price (http://www.beutler-muenzen.de/) That stuff will at least get you on the right track... I know Luke (lives in Australia, like me) and his site is one of the highest scoring Third Reich coin info sites out there... Its worth a look for sure...
