This is a quote from Cointalk.com where this post was also posted:

Quote:
Just had a quick scan of your collection.... The coins appear to be common world coins so you would get about $8 lb. the banknotes are heavily worn and circulated. The U.S. dollar $1 and the rest anywhere from 25 cents to $1 each. I didn't see anything scarce or valuable.

Total value may be about $30-$40

Please do not delete entire posts simply because you do not like the answer, or were just fishing.

And thank you for that, Moe

person 1 :Sorry, just stating facts. Keep the collection for yourself and use it to build on. I have a world coin collection that I add to. It's not valuable but it does educate me on the types of designs used by each country and I have found errors which I collect.

World coins are inexpensive (generally) and are fun to collect.

Scan ebay listings and see what's available.
me:i have 250 coins ... 1$ each if I say ..and ai have 250$ ... but I have some silver coins in collection ...worth more ..

person 1 :That may be but you have to check the percentage of silver. Most are quite low.

You could sell them for $1 each less the listing price, less the picture(s) price, less the time to post each one, less the time to package them, less the time to take them to the post office, less the time to deal with lost shipments......

If you go to a coin show, most of these are sold 5 for $1, some for 50 cents each.

I buy mine in bulk. 10 lbs for $90. I get around 2500 coins for that.

me :
500 lei 1941
5 LEI 1883
100 Korona 1912
50 Korona 1914

search this on ebay ..just this 4 pices are over 100$ ..

COLLECTION HAVE OVER 250 COINS AND ABOUT 100 BANKNOTES

person 1 : You removed your link. As I said earlier, I did a quick scan. If you had these listed, I didn't see them. Are your's in the same condition as the ones on ebay because condition is everything.

Have to go to work now. I'll pop in this afternoon.

Why are you posting responses from another forum here? If you want an honest opinion, give it some time and the members here will let you know what they think. However, posts like your last one will do nothing but confuse, since you do not mention those are posts from other people on a different forum.

Be patient.
