i am about to head over to an estate sale where they are selling some morgans and Peace dollars.

i called ahead to get some pricing. there is one picture and judging by the pic, the 1928-S looks BU.. $45 is the asking price. I know this coin can bring A LOT more if it is in fact MS quality... think I should go for it?

Doesn't look MS to me, just my humble opinion... it's either glare or no cartwheel, and I think it lacks a cartwheel.

Can't tell from picture. You'll have to make judgement in person when you see the coin, if you are allowed to do that.

Easy come, easy go. Now is the time to tell yourself that all those coins were fakes or harshly cleaned or had marks on the reverses. Not really true but if you convince yourself of that, you'll feel better, maybe.
