Basically all over mid-missouri primarily along the missouri river is where I detect. I found a really nice shaped 1832 Half Dime in the spring and posted that here before...
I giot a real sweet 1853 Half Dime 3 weeks ago Ill try to get a pic and post that too.

right now I'm using a whites XLT metal detector but and major brand works well.. its all practice using it over and over again you can get pretty good with it.

Isn't it just possible that your luck in finding all these great coins is more in where your are conducting your searchs and not in the machine used to locate them. The best detector in the world won't come up with anything if there isn't any thing to be found. Right?
