That is really weird. I wasn't able to view the pictures though. This obviously wasnt a brand new unopened roll...

here are the pictures and I agree with the other respondants on that other forum that the color just doesn't look correct, not no where near correct to tell you the truth

I'm sure it was just a machine wrapped roll, not a mint roll.

here is a picture of my 1909 that is in my Dansco 7070 to show what the color should look like, this one was a PCGS MS-64 Red. Even if it was a dipped coin it would have a pinkish color to it not the shiny goldish color that coin shows

It's tough to say the color is off from a digital photo on-line. In addition to the fact that every monitor is different, a digital camera in the hands of the inexperienced can be a dangerous thing.

I could make a Morgan look like that rather easily with the wrong lighting and white balance.

but it has a shiny appearance also and from their own description they said it had a brass color to it
