This lovely lady arrived at my house today. I have been waiting for her for a long time! In fact I postponed buying one of Rob Turner's books this month so that she could get here sooner (Sorry Rob).
Anyway here are her photos. I have a question for the experts. I've had a hard time deciding between OC2 & OC3 I have finally decided on OC3 but would appreciate other, more knowledgeable input. I would also appreciate grade estimates....thanks.

Alan

Hi Pastorals, I can't grade worth anything, but it looks like F-15 maybe F-20. I personally look at the Xs in the crown yours are both peeking through.

It is definately OC3, as the C in Canada is closed and there is a long serif on the inner parts of letter E.

OC2 has an open mouth on the C in Canada and a short inner serif on the E.

Nice find.

Thanks for the input nybird. I finally settled on OC3 also. What had me going for a while was figuring our whether it is a "far and low 91" or a "close and high" 91. But I think we both ended up at the right place,

Nice coin! I am just starting to get into the large cents now myself. It is nice to see the grades from the folks that know their stuff. My amateur grade was VF to low EF so it is good to see I was relatively close. Thanks for sharing.

I'm also just getting started into large cents. I'm certainly glad I found CCF , there are a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful folks here.
