I recently got my only slabbed coin, a 1908-S Indian Head cent. It is beautiful, and I have no reason to suspect anything is wrong. It is ANACS authenticated, and has a barcode with a seven digit number under the barcode.
I have read that even "authenticated holders" can be faked, or copied.
My question is: Can the authentication code be verified by ANACS?
