KHald Valued Member United States 61 Posts	Posted 03/27/2011 11:00 pm JackB, I did a few with the scanner on the Morgans and they turned out OK. I have since begun using my Nikon Coolpix L100 with, I think, somewhat better results. The Morgans seem to photograph more easily than other coins. I have had particular trouble with coins in slabs. I have no manual focus or any manual override on the AUTO settings so, a coin in a flip or just loose photos much better. Glad you like the photos. I need to work on the lighting but, I'm satisfied with my progress so far. Report this Post to the Staff

fenton Pillar of the Community United States 4989 Posts	Posted 04/01/2011 10:37 pm I don't think it has active PVC. Evidence of a cleaning is not overwhelming but it does look to have been gently cleaned at some point in the past. It won't have a severe impact on market value but will knock it down 10-15% or so v/ a more natural looking AU example. Perhaps we can get some photos of it outside of the holder?
