Some collectors refer to them as "TYPE". Ladder type, binary type etc. Just surf the net and look around what dealers have for sale. I have seen some "type" notes sell higher than regular radars etc. The more "eye appeal" = higher premium. Below are 2 notes I picked up recently. Collect what you like. The two of us have had this conversation a while back that zero's are sort of invisible (if that is the right word) at the start or end, even the middle of a serial number. In the image below if this first number was anything other than a 0 or a 1 this would obviously not be a ladder. It's the same thing for the radar. Now don't get me wrong, I think a radar is a full 8 digits myself, but especially on a star note I can see the one above being collectible. Here is another example of what we are saying: What do you see when you look at this serial? I don't really see the zeros I see 989. Report this Post to the Staff
