what is the difference and which one is more valuable. I'm looking to buy a 1939 d nickel and I keep finding ones that say reverse of 1940 on them and I'm not sure what this means. help or more info would be appreciated :)

Okay, after a little bit of research, the reverse of 1939 is a little 'fuzzy' and the steps for Monticello are 'wavy'.. On the reverse of 1940, the image is 'sharper,' apparently on the steps.. (Link (hopefully): https://www.doubleddie.com/341701.html ).. The website said both types are equally common..
