Hey everybody. I did a bunch of research on this coin and just wanted to see if you guys agree with me.

Im pretty sure this is the 1977 queens jubilee coin 1/2 ounce gold but can anyone here confirm that for me? I dont have a back shot. does it look fake at all to anyone?

Looks like a 1977 $100 queens jubilee coin to me. I don't see anything that makes me think its a fake either.

yep it is.

This coin was my first official NCLT. Stunning. It was given to me by my parents when I was getting heavy into coin collecting. They paid $140 for it. Then, they bought the 22K 1978 gold coin for $180. Then gold went ballistic... If memory serves, I sold both of them in 1980 for melt close to $900 for the pair.

I came close to buying the coin back for $220 4-5 years ago.

Back then this proof coin did not come encapsulated so it will be difficult to find one in perfect condition today.

You should get close to $800.00 or the gold value,if the coin has been handled it,s probably bullion value. I have a couple of these I thought they came in a box with the capsule set inside.Hope you did well on the sale.
