Looks normal to me. From searching many bank rolled Lincolns 1975 were not well struck and are mostly blurry.

Hey Lucleus- Did you order your copy of the book? Have you gotten it yet?

Honestly Scooby, when I see stuff that just doesn't make stuff like that- I usually just ignore the post. It's not in a reference book, I can tell you that pretty confidently. But I've been wrong before....What IS FFSD?

Flat Field Strike Doubling. I got it from my 2nd edition of Strike it Rich with pocket change.

Lol, I sound like a real horse's butt!! My sincerest apologies Lucleus! Please allow me to explain myself- in my own world, if it isn't a die variety, I don't give much consideration to what it could be. If it's not a doubled die, I don't pay much attention to the type of MD it is- FFSD just isn't a term in my vernacular, just like I wouldn't call a flip-over double strike on a dime a FODSOD....But I'll happily eat crow! Well done Lucleus, I won't be a wealth of information on Strike Doubling or PMD, but I'm glad to see you're asking the right questions. That's very cool! I know you'll start getting a lot more out of your searches, good luck buddy.

I also find it hard to talk while I still have feathers in my mouth. There is alot of repect given in this thread. IMHO...a win-win is when one question is asked and everyone learns. Now to answer the post....I have several mint sets that contain Machine Doubling.
