Your pictures need to be larger to see any detail. What I can see is that the reverse has been effaced and engraved. It looks like some kind of vignette and not a love token-style engraving with a name or calligraphy initials. The host coin is almost certainly genuine and the engraving was done outside of the mint so it is technically a damaged coin but an artistic engraving can add value depending on the level of detail.
