I know you have seen the Geico commercial where President Lincoln cannot tell a lie about his wife's "backside". Well, as you note in the commercial she gets angry and walks out of site of the camera. Well, here is the rest of the story...when President Lincoln got out of the camera's view trying to apologize, Ms. Lincoln smacked him up side the head with a framed commemorative copy of the Gettysburg Address and split his skull. Below is the pictorial evidence that the government did not want you to see.

In the early 60's and before, error coins were commonly referred to as FIDO's. It stood for Freaks, Irregular, Defective, Oddities. So the study of FIDO's would be Fidology.
