Nice find. You don't find lots of Denver Lincolns in here on the east. Congrats!

When you find a variety and it jumps out at you, you start to realize that you may be looking to hard on the normal coins trying to find something that just isn't there. When searching for varieties your eyes go through several stages:
1. I don't see anything different on coins.
2. I finding damage on the coins I'm checking.
3. I found my first RPM.
4. I found my first doubled die
5. I'm find just real minor varieties.
When you get to level 5 then you start ot realize there is such a thing as too minor and then quit checking for these and wait then till the varieties jump out at you then you know you don't have to ask: "Is this a veriety?". You don't have to ask, you just know it IS!

Coop - Ha! You described mt to a "T"! I'm at step 5. I don't have a microscope so I wasn't able to pick up most of the minor varieties. I finally stopped looking for them. Now I just look for the ones that jump out at you.

jsb1561 - I'm not sure what you are saying. Do you think this is not an RPM? I'm still new to this whole die variety world (about 18 months or so), so I could be wrong, but it sure looks like this one at Copper Coins. What makes you think it's not?

Oh, and to the forum.
