ok this is all the coins I found from my $50 bag of pennies I got earlier in the week. some of these coins are not errors, but most of them can fall into the category with few exceptions.

1) this first coin is not an error, yet a VERY nice 1974-S lincoln. the picture does not do justice at how amazing this penny is. PULLED STRAIGHT FROM CIRCULATION!

2) Another non-error coin, but a very nice circulation find. 1943 XF steel ^^

ok ok... on with the errors....

3) first up... 1955 penny that appears to be either a counterfeit or false material...

4) next is a 19XX penny with faded lettering in the date and LXXerty... everything else seems to be in perfect shape.

5) this is a close-up of some doubling on a 1956-D wheatie

6) this 1996 has a border that seems to run further in towards lincolns chest and into the 6 in the date. ends at trust near the top.

7) bubbling all over the coin. found two that had this, but I have no idea what might have caused it...

8) 1962-D penny with what looks like delamination errors on both obverse and reverse. all the lettering and designs look like they are melting into each other. the border floods into the text on both sides of the coin, like someone was spreading it like butter across them. I tried to take close-ups but they were too blurry

9) 1994 quarter I found in the register tonight that had obvious doubling in the "In God We Trust"

i had 15 wheats from the 5000, plus roughly 2 dozen maples that dont belong in US currency arghhhh. I hate them canadian coins.

lol I like the 8th power thing... only reason why I have so many x's because I'm used to that. its my account for everything (i.e. 6 other forums, xbox live, and all my games). >_> someone took the ones with less x's =(

What a great post! Thanks for sharing madness! I also look through bank bags and rolls of cents, and have found some great stuff. It does take a lot of patience though...

You did very good. Nice doubling on the D and a good looking steel cent as well. Thanks for sharing.
