I found this 1972 Penny and at first I thought it was just damaged, but on the front left where the line is...I think I can faintly make out the word LIBERTY. There are marks all over the coin and on the back of the coin there is a big chunk missing.

To me, it looks like when they were making the penny, it might have gotten eaten up and spit out with marks all over and the extra LIBERTY word on it.

I really have no idea about coins, so any help you could give me figuring out what these marks are or if it is of any value would be greatly appreciated!

I just threw one back in circulation about a few weeks ago that looked like that. It might of been the same one for all I know.
