Attended the show today ... alas missed lukkyseven as I had left a few minutes before he got there. Bummer on that account.
This show is huge ... overwhelming for me ... hundreds of dealers and millions of coins.
I did not purchase anything ... met up with a few familiar dealers who all claimed that the circulated classic silver commemorative I am seeking are all heading to the melting pot at $40/oz silver. Bummer on that as well.
Did stop by the PCGS booth where I picked up a few sample slabs ... they are promoting their new 'Secure Plus' holder by giving away 2010-D Shield cents in sample slabs.
I need better skills/knowledge/something to manage a show of this size. Truly felt like I was out of my league.
I suppose that is part of growing as a collector?
