Noone answered so I'm still curious...what is wrong with the Harris albums? Green line like "upstates" whitman, or what?

Really don't know why but ever since Harris bought out Whitman, their Albums have really gone down in quality. Maybe it's not Harris's fault but something is wrong. It is not just a fad that so many are switching to Dansco Albums. Over the years I've had almost every brand of Album made by many different companies since I get almost all free from a dealer I know.
As a general statement the older Whitman Albums are rather sturdy and I have no problems with them. The ones that are newer appear to be falling apart almost as fast as I open them. My biggest complaint is the front piece of paper on each page sort of falls off allowing coins to fall all over the place. Regluing is not to smart unless you really know what is in the glue.

Hey Saddam is it getting cold down there?
Was that a pig that just flew by the window?

I too know this is almost the end of a beautiful Whitman/Carl friendship. With well over 100 Albums and almost all are Whitman's, sure hate to start now going over to Dansco's.
Kind of makes me mad that I have given away so many Dansco Albums in the past and now I might be swithing over. This is a really horrible event.
As far a any Folders are concerned. As I've mentioned many times in the past, that shinny stuff inside the slots on those pages is glue. If it gets wet, it attacks coins.
